Become a pin badge volunteer fundraiser

The RSPB's wildlife pin badges are a fun and collectable way to support nature conservation projects around the UK and overseas. Thanks to a network of fantastic volunteers, our pin badge scheme covers the UK and raises over £1 million a year to help us give nature a home. We'd love you to join our friendly team and get involved.

How can you help?

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers of all ages to continue the success of this unique fundraising scheme in their local area. It only takes a few hours a month.

What does it involve?

We will support you to place up to five pin badge boxes or collection tins in your local area. You will collect the donations at each box every four to six weeks, bank the funds with your own paying-in card, report your donations and re-order stock to top up your boxes.

Our pin badge reporting and order system is all online and you will have your own login details. Reporting and ordering is simple and secure. In a few hours each month you will be making a huge contribution to our conservation work. A local RSPB community fundraiser will be available to guide and support your volunteer work.

What’s in it for you?

The role is very flexible, allowing you to support nature at a time that suits you. Not only will your volunteer work develop your fundraising skills and boost your CV, it will give you the opportunity to connect with your community and with fellow volunteers.

Your local community fundraiser will support your work and help you explore opportunities to develop additional volunteering skills.
