Parking is very limited, careful parking may be possible close to the reserve entrance, but access by large agricultural vehicles is required 24 hours a day.
Alternatively, roadside parking is available towards the Beckingham end of Old Trent Road.
Visitors are welcome to consume their own food and drink on the reserve, making use of the benches in the information areas and at the viewing platform.

The visitor trail leads to a raised viewing platform that has information about the reserve and a seaside-style telescope. It has two steps to reach it and some seating.
There is a signposted trail, 0.75 miles (1km) there and back, leading out to the raised viewing platform.
Uneven grass – no hard surfaces. Four information points with bench seating.
Narrow kissing gate on entry and the trail crosses a narrow bridge with gates at either end.
The trail passes a number of information points sharing the nature and heritage of Beckingham Marshes.
During the grazing season (April-December) there will be large numbers of free-roaming and very curious cattle on site. There is no separation between the cattle and visitors. If cattle approach remain calm and continue walking at a steady pace

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
