About
This small vantage point offers a commanding view across sweeping Isle of Sheppey farmland. Capel Fleet has a mixture of important wetland habitats including reedbeds and marshland.
Raise your binoculars and watch out for a multitude of different birds of prey hunting over the fields. Keep your eyes peeled for Peregrines in summer, and Merlins and Marsh Harriers in the autumn and winter.
Not a full reserve in itself, Capel Fleet Raptor Viewpoint is a free car park and raised viewing point maintained by the RSPB to provide visitors to the Isle of Sheppey with a great location for bird of prey sightings.
