There are two circular trails of 1.25 miles (2.5 km) and 1.5 miles (3 km). Access from the car park is along a tarmac road for about 0.5kms however is very steep.
Trails are very steep in places, with some rocky areas which can be wet and slippery in places.
The trails are only suitable for those used to rough hill walking, and sturdy footwear is a must. Information boards (not in large print).
Six benches (without backs or arm rests) at key viewpoints along the nature trails.

No on-site parking. Nearest recommended car park is a Snowdonia National Park picnic site outside Bontddu known as the Fiddlers Elbow. Space for eight cars. Tarmac surface. No lighting. No height restrictions.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
There is no visitor centre here and this reserve does not have any staff on site.
There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is in Dolgellau. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
