There is one unisex toilet and one men’s toilet. The toilets are open from 9am - 5pm daily.

Binoculars and pond dipping kit are available free of charge (when site is staffed). Activities for groups of 8+ are available by arrangement.

Two nature trails - 200m trail around the wildlife garden, and 500m all-weather wheelchair accessible trail through the woodland and across the meadows to the hide. Short trail around crop field consisting of 50 m all-weather path and 100 m cut-grass path. No steps or stiles. Two gates, both full width of boardwalk. Gradient both level and 1:2

School groups are welcome here - pond dipping, bug hunting and guided walks are our speciality. Normally the warden leads these activities. Please contact the warden in advance on 028 9265 1936 to discuss your requirements. Community room also available for hire.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
