Sporting challenges with Team RSPB

Whether you're a hare or a tortoise we'd love you to support the RSPB as you face your personal sporting challenges – you'll be helping vital conservation work while achieving personal milestones.

Your local community fundraiser will help you register with us, set up your online fundraising page and support you up to your challenge day and beyond. We'll also supply you with an RSPB sports vest in your size for your challenge day.

If you already have a confirmed ballot place in a local or national challenge event please come and join Team RSPB. Simply email us with details of your event.

Please note that we encourage our supporters to choose low carbon and sustainable challenges that do not include flights, such as UK-based run, walk, swim and cycle events.

If you would like to take on a sporting challenge and raise money for RSPB the easiest way to do this is to setup your own JustGiving page and link it directly to our RSPB JustGiving page.

If you need any assistance with your fundraising please email CommunityFundraising@rspb.org.uk.

Don't just take our word for it

I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience which was aided enormously by delightful RSPB staff who were unfailingly helpful and supportive at every turn of events.

Running as part of Team RSPB has been a great experience, the fantastic support of spectators spread along the whole route making for an enjoyable challenge.

The atmosphere was incredible, with 58,000 other runners representing charities from all over the UK. The encouragement from the crowds really kept me going. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to set a new challenge for themselves and help fundraise for the RSPB.

Bucket collections

Bucket collections are a great way to raise awareness of the RSPB’s work and raise vital funds to support our conservation campaigns and projects in your area.

You don’t need any conservation knowledge to take part, just the stamina to spend a few hours with a team of like-minded supporters at your local shop, town centre or community hub spreading the word about why nature needs our help.

Your local RSPB community fundraiser will supply you with all the licences, kit, ID materials and activity guidelines you require.

If you can help us please email us and we will put you in touch with your local community fundraiser.
