Nature's calendar: December
It might be chilly, but we’ve got six nature highlights that are sure to tempt you outside this month.
Give a lasting gift to nature this Christmas with a charity donation, while sharing your special memories.
The arrival of a Robin can be a welcome reminder that our loved ones are nearby. This Christmas, you can give back to the nature we all cherish through the RSPB’s Dedication page by sharing a message in memory or appreciation of someone special.
You can leave your message in whichever way you’d like, whether that’s posting your favourite photos of your time spent together in nature or simply sharing a few words. It will be viewable here, alongside the other messages dedicated to a whole community of nature lovers.
A dedication message is a greener alternative to a card – and its impact lasts much longer than the holiday season. In 2024, the RSPB’s supporters helped us to campaign for the closure of sandeel fisheries, offering a lifeline for Puffins and other seabirds. Their support also means that once-threatened species, like the Bittern and the Crane, are thriving across our nature reserves.
You can make the season of giving extra special this year. Give a gift in someone's name that will protect and restore nature for years to come.
Leave a message on the RSPB’s Dedication page now.
Your dedication will then appear amongst others on the main page.
