Our picnic area is located outside our Visitor Centre and we have a number of other benches around the reserve. 10 picnic tables in the picnic areas, including 2 accessible tables.

Binocular hire is available daily from 10am, to be returned by visitor centre closing time. Last hire is an hour before closing.
We run an exciting programme of guided walks and other events throughout the year.
Our wildlife watching hides and viewpoints are a great place to spot the special wildlife here and offer outstanding views over Pagham Harbour.
Ferry Pool hide, 250 m from visitor centre. Approached by a level, surfaced path with a ramp or steps to access hide.
Church Norton Hide up steep bank, accessed by steps, tidal footpath and boardwalk.
Several viewpoints. Many have benches, some with back support.
The Discovery Trail is 1.75 miles long. Allow around an hour to complete this trail. A shorter 20 minute pushchair friendly option makes up part of this trail.
The Church Norton Trail is 800m long. Allow around 35 minutes to complete this trail.
The trails can be extended and linked using the of Public Rights of Way across the site.
Trails may become muddy and waterlogged. Benches at regular intervals. Some with arms and back support.
Take away refreshments are available daily, 10am - 4pm from our visitor centre.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted here at any time.
Restrictions
Dogs under close, effective control at all times are welcome on the public footpaths and bridleways around the nature reserve.
Please keep to the designated rights of way only and clean up after your dog.
Discovery Trail through the Discovery Zone is not a public footpath, so sorry, no dogs are permitted here other than assistance dogs.
Dogs are welcome in the dog-friendly exercise area on Slipe Field and Yeoman’s Field.
A dog water bowl is available outside the visitor centre.
Assistance dogs are welcome on all parts of the reserve.
