The Little Gull is a small, dainty gull. In summer, adults have black heads, while young birds have a black mark on each wing forming a 'W' pattern. In flight, adults show a pale grey upperwing, with no black wingtips, and a very dark grey underwing. Little Gulls are listed as a Schedule 1 species under The Wildlife and Countryside Act.Call
