Together We Fly

The RSPB brings people together – people like you – to protect the things that matter to us all. To lift each other up, and lift nature up.

Great things happen when we work together

Everyone’s welcome at the RSPB, and there are so many ways you can do your bit for nature, whether that’s something small, something big, or something in between. You could help spread the word, get your hands dirty on your local nature reserve, take part in a fundraising activity, or join your local RSPB group. However you choose to get involved, it all counts and together we can make the best impact for nature.

Act for nature now

We’ll help you discover just how easy it is to take action for nature, get involved and make a difference. It can be as easy as just doing nothing – and letting your lawn grow wild in spring so it becomes a haven for wildflowers and insects. If you fancy doing something a bit bigger, then that’s great news too! We’ll also help you find new ways to connect with nature and we’ll give you progress updates on the work we’re doing to save species and habitats.

Want to do more?

You’re doing your bit for nature, simply by signing up to Notes on Nature. But if you want to do a bit more, there are lots of other ways to get started. You can help in many ways – large and small. Whatever you do, whatever the size, it all adds up to make a big impact.

Visit an RSPB nature reserve

Nature’s springing into life, and there’s adventure in the air. It’s the start of nesting season, spring migrant birds are returning, and everyone’s venturing outside again. An incredible 18,700 species have been recorded on RSPB nature reserves, so take a visit to the reserve near you and see nature thriving before your eyes.

Nature reserves aren’t just wonderful places to visit, they’re where some of our work to save nature happens, too. In 1997, just 11 male Bitterns were booming across the UK. But through creating ideal habitat for them on our nature reserves, they now number more than 200.
