BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
There are no formal viewing points here. As there is nowhere to shelter, we recommend you dress appropriately for the weather. Very good views with binoculars and telescopes can be had from the public footpath that lies to the south of the River Stour.

Restrictions
Dogs are not permitted on the reserve itself, but you can walk with your dog along the neighbouring public right of way from Manningtree to Flatford.
Please keep a look out for horses. Keep a short lead and give horses and riders plenty of distance, to make sure your dog, the horses and riders remain safe.
