Our shop is open daily, and our friendly team are on hand to serve and advise you.
You are welcome to bring a picnic with you to enjoy on your visit to Darts Farm. There is a picnic area here with a number of tables for your use.

Binocular hire is available daily from 10am, to be returned by shop closing time (5pm). Last hire is an hour before closing.

Whether it’s a pair of binoculars for the family to spot nature in your own garden, a telescope to use out birding, or compacts that make seeing wildlife on your walks that little bit extra special, we’ve got something for everyone.
Prices start from just £25 and include premium brands such as our own RSPB series (some of which are available to hire as above), along with Viking, Swarovski, Leica, Nikon, Opticron and Zeiss.
We run an exciting programme of guided walks and other events throughout the year.
Darts Farm has a public hide. It is a great place to spot the special wildlife here and offers outstanding views over the River Clyst. You can also visit our hide and viewing platform at nearby RSPB Bowling Green Marsh from our shop - ask our friendly staff for more details.
Short walk: Take a scenic stroll around Darts Farm Wetlands and reconnect with nature. This route is half a mile long and takes 30 minutes-1 hour. The surface of this trail is very uneven.
Longer walk: From the Darts Farm shopping centre you can visit our nearby Bowling Green Marsh and Goosemoor nature reserves. The route is 1.3 miles long one-way. Allow 1-2 hours to explore this stunning landscape and the wildlife that calls it home, stopping off at our hide and viewing platform.
Darts Farm is also well connected to the Exe Estuary cycle network. Our team here at Darts Farm are also happy to provide infomration on other nearby RSPB nature reserves and further affield in Devon: Aylesbeare Common Chapel Wood Exminster and Powderham Marshes Labrador Bay Matford Marshes
The play area for Darts Farm shopping centre is very popular with families. It is located on the western side of the complex, just below our shop.

Nature trails access: There is a nature trail around the farm that is not suitable for wheelchairs due to the uneven surfaces.
BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted at any time.
Darts Farm is a lifestyle shopping destination with our RSPB shop located inside. We are situated on the first floor above Cotswold Outdoor. There is a lift for access.
While we don't have a visitor centre here, our friendly team are on-hand, happy to help with your wildlife queries and share how best to explore the Exe Estuary, including several RSPB nature reserves nearby and further affield in Devon.
We don't provide refreshments here in our shop, but there is plenty of great options on offer from the other outlets in the Darts Farm shopping centre. Take a look at their website for more details.
We have no formal educational facilities here.
