There are 4 trails at the reserve.
Upland Trail: 1 mile return (1.5 km) to reconstructed sheep fank, returning same route. Starts from Garrison Farm car park.
Woodland Trail: 0.76 mile (1 km) long sign posted Nature Trail. 500 m north from Inversnaid car park along the West Highland Way.
West Highland Way: travels 2.5 miles (4 km) through the full length of reserve.
The Great Trossachs Path passes through the reserve. All trails are rocky with many changes in gradient and can become slippy and muddy.
The woodland trail has three benches (without back or arm rests) along the route. It has over 400 steps and can become slippery and muddy.
No hides, however there are stunning viewpoints over Loch Lomond and surrounds on Woodland and Upland trails.
Good views of the upland part of the reserve can be seen from Garrison car park.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.

There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is Inversnaid Hotel, in high season only. Alternatively, there is a cafe at Stronochlachar, 3 miles (5 km) away, or Aberfoyle. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
Restrictions
RSPB Scotland welcomes responsible access, in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. During the ground-nesting bird breeding season (1 April to 15 August) and in areas with livestock, we would ask that you keep your dog on a short lead and clean up after them.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
