Two nature trails - North trail and Cromwell trail.
It is a 20 minute (800m) walk from the car park up through our woodland, past the fresh water lagoons to the Beach Hut.
The Cromwell Trail is the shorter of the two (30 mins), whilst the North Trail (45 mins) takes you around the whole perimeter of the Phase 1 area.
You can also walk the entire perimeter. It takes 2 hours (4 miles) starting from the car park and following the public footpath around the outer boundary of the site.
Please stick to the perimeter path and do not walk into the quarry.
The trails are mown grass paths. They are undulating and uneven in places and can get very wet and slippery in places in winter or after heavy rainfall. There are some slopes.
Six benches are sited along the trails and an open viewing area with picnic bench is located on top of one of the higher viewing points.
A walk round Langford Lowfields takes you past many excellent points from which to view the nature-filled reedbed.
360-degree viewing screen. Floating bridge and boardwalk. Pond dipping platform.
