Pushchair Accessible
Trails have a hardcore surface with varying gradients depending on the natural landscape. All picnic benches are wheelchair accessible.

Binocular Hire
Picnic benches at Nature Hub and along Airey Trail have wheelchair spaces. Picnic benches at pond have wheelchair spaces. Covered seating area at pond along Airey Trail. Oak picnic bench along Lomond Trail has space for two wheelchairs.
Airey Woodland Trail (950m loop) – Hardcore surface with slopes in some sections, please ask us for more information.
Viewpoint Trail (200m) – Hardcore, level surface, accessible to viewpoint overlooking the reserve wetlands and woodlands.
Lomond Trail (1.3km) - Hardcore surface with sections of boardwalk (120cm wide at smallest point). Accessed via Airey Trail.
Shore Wood Path (1.5km) - The path has a rough surface with some large stones throughout. In summer some sections can get overgrown with vegetation. There are gates with long handles along the trail. Net Bay is on level access. Shore beach is down an uneven surface and there is no path to access it.

Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
RSPB Scotland welcomes responsible access, in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. We request that you keep your dog close to you, preferably on a short lead, clean up after your dog and that you keep to the paths.
