Bicycle racks are situated close to the visitor centre entrance. No lighting. No formal drop-off point. No height restriction.

Nature trails access: Three partly-signposted trails (two 400m trails + one 1.5km trail), all flat with no significant inclines. Main trail (1.5km long) is an all-access trail. All prone to flooding.

We have a range of refreshments in our shop All our drinks and snacks are either Fairtrade or locally-sourced. We also sell a range of hot drinks, including bean-to-cup coffee, and a variety of sweet and savoury snacks and sandwiches.
The shop stocks a range of binoculars and telescopes, books, bird food and gifts.
Four tables situated outside the visitor centre, 2 of which have single wheelchair space. Visitors are welcome to consume their own food and drink here.

Guided Walks
There is generally level access, except the Tower Observation Area which is upstairs in the visitor centre. There is no lift access and entry to the tower can only be made by walking up 23 steps. Two hides with seating. Two viewing screens, one with seating.
Please note the Aird Meadow Hide is currently closed for maintenance. We apologise for any inconvienience caused.

Restrictions
Dogs are allowed on all footpaths in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Well behaved dogs are welcome within the visitor centre excluding the shop area. Please keep dogs at heel or on a lead to protect wildlife.
Assistance Dogs welcome in all parts of the reserve.
