20 spaces. Unmarked bays. Rolled stone surface with some loose surface material. Gently sloping. Drop off in front of visitor centre if required. Coach and minibus access available (please contact reserve staff in advance). Additional five spaces in unmarked bays at Russell's Enclosure.
Our toilets are in the visitor centre, and are accessed during open hours (11am-3pm at weekends and bank holidays between Easter and September only. Closed the rest of the time.

Longer loop has some narrow sections as well as longer slopes. Benches without back/arm rests around the trails. Wide, hard surfaced path leads to 'Nursery pond' area with open viewing opportunities. Forestry road (rolled stone surface) leads north from Visitor Centre. One long steep slope. Shared access with cyclists.
Additional trails at Russell's Enclosure. Hard, but uneven, surfaces. No stiles.
Hides within 500 m of visitor centre, both accessed via unsurfaced paths, with some gates.
Lower hide offers views across the lower pond where mandarin ducks make a splash. Lower Hide has ramp access without handrail.
Campbell Hide gives an elevated view over a small woodland pond where, with patience, hawfinches may be seen coming to drink. Campbell Hide is accessed by steep steps with handrail.
The rich variety of wildlife living here, along with the beautiful reserve landscape, can also be enjoyed from our trails too.
Our visitor centre is open seasonally at weekends and bank holidays, 11am-3pm, Easter-September only. It is closed outside of these times.
Visitor centre accessed by hard rolled stone surface and gentle concrete slope. Level, hard surfaced floor. No doors, except to toilets. Volunteers or staff available to assist.
You are welcome to bring a picnic with you to enjoy on your visit. Our picnic tables are to rear of visitor centre and at nursery pond on grass.
Tables are not adapted for wheelchairs but have a space at each end.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is in Parkend. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
Restrictions
Please keep your dog on a short lead at all times due to the sensitive wildlife, habitats and livestock here.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
Cycling on the reserve is not permitted.
