5 spaces. The spaces are in unmarked bays by the lighthouse (grid ref: HY393499). No height restrictions. No lighting. The gravel road to the reserve entrance should only be attempted in a 4x4 vehicle.

The Noup Coastal Trail on the reserve forms part of the larger West Westray cliffs walk (5 miles from Noup Head to Kirbest).
The route is unsurfaced with rough vegetation. This is a linear walk and the length given refers to the return journey if accessing from the car park at Noup Head lighthouse and cliffs.
If parking at Backarass Farm, a circular route of 6.8 km is possible along the road and track to Noup Head lighthouse and returning along the Noup Coastal Trail, heading inland close to Backarass to arrive back in the car parking area.

BBQs are a fire risk, endangering other people and the precious wildlife and habitats here. They are not permitted on the reserve at any time.
There are no formal viewing points here. As there is nowhere to shelter, we recommend you dress appropriately for the weather. There are good panoramic views from the car park at the lighthouse.
There is no visitor centre here and this reserve does not have any staff on site.
There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is in Pierowall village, 4 miles (6.5 km) away. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
Restrictions
RSPB Scotland welcomes responsible access, in line with the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. During the ground-nesting bird breeding season (1 April to 15 August) and in areas with livestock, we would ask that you keep your dog on a short lead and clean up after them.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
