We have a combination of Public Right of Way and permitted paths around the site, the walk from Humberston Fitties car park to Horseshoe Point is 7km and is not a circular walk.
There is no access across the saltmarsh or along the beach. This is to avoid scaring-off the wildlife that lives here and also for your safety due to high tides. Please keep on the public rights of way.

Humberston Fitties car park next to the nature reserve is owned by North East Lincolnshire Council. There is signage in the car park showing the seasonal opening times.
The car park is locked at closing time with a £30 call out fee if you are locked in.

Please don't park on the road, verges or in gateways, as it causes an obstruction for residents and emergency services.

The rich variety of wildlife living here, along with the beautiful reserve landscape is enjoyed from the trails and informal viewpoints along the public footpath that runs on top of the sea wall along the side of the reserve.

There is no cafe or shop here, the nearest place for food and drinks is in Humberston, 2 miles away. We recommend you bring your own food and drinks if this is likely to affect your visit.
Restrictions
Dogs on leads are welcome on the public footpaths around the nature reserve. Please keep to the designated rights of way only.
Disturbing wildlife does more than simply causing it to move away; it uses up their energy, decreasing their chance of survival regardless of season.
There are several dog waste bins in the car park, we ask that you please use these and pick up after your dog.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all parts of the reserve.
