How do I make a donation?
You can either:
- Set up a Just Giving page, a simple way to manage your giving online
- Download the donation form, fill it in and return it to us
- Send a cheque (made payable to 'RSPB') to: The RSPB, The Lodge, Sandy, Bedfordshire, SG19 2DL
- Call 01767 693680 with your debit/credit card details
- Give your donation to the Funeral Director to forward to us
I'm thinking of asking for donations at the funeral in lieu of flowers. Can I give the donations to the Funeral Directors to send to you?
Yes, most funeral directors will offer this service.
What is a Feather Fund?
A Feather Fund allows you to remember your loved one by making a donation on special occasions, such as a birthday or wedding anniversary. When you have lost a loved one and a special day comes around – a birthday, wedding anniversary or Christmas – it can be hard to know what to do. A Feather Fund helps you to mark these special days, while also continuing your loved one’s passion for birds and nature.
Feather Funds are named after your loved one (for example, the Mary Sample Feather Fund) and can be added to by anyone at any time. You can choose how you would like the donations directed: to general RSPB funds (which will be used for our most urgent work); to a favourite reserve or to a current appeal your loved one was passionate about.
The easiest way to manage your donations online is to create a JustGiving page or download one of the forms. If you'd prefer to arrange a monthly or annual direct debit our In Memoriam Team can help you.

Will I get an acknowledgement of my donation?
A thank you is sent to everyone that sends in an In Memoriam donation as long as we know the sender's address. You will receive either a card or personal letter depending on the donation.
Can I set up a Direct Debit?
Yes. Contact the In Memoriam Team who will send you the appropriate form or download our donation form (on the right of this page).
I am the Executor or the Solicitor dealing with a will. Who should I contact if I have any queries?
The administration of all legacies kindly bequeathed to the RSPB is dealt with by our Legacy Administration Team, who are based at our UK Headquarters at The Lodge, Sandy, Bedfordshire. SG19 2DL.
