Escape to the Nene Washes in spring and summer for a walk along the wash bank with fine views over the flood plain meadows. Or venture out in winter and discover a flooded landscape, alive with waterfowl.

Explore the thick heath at Cottascarth, look skyward for birds of prey as you scrunch toward our grass-topped hide. Settle into the hide, and keep watch for Hen Harriers, Short-eared Owls and Curlews.

Marvel at hunting Short-eared Owls and Hen Harriers on the moorland or set out on a coastal walk to see Black Guillemots bobbing on the water and hear Twites twittering overhead.

Visit this sweeping saltmarsh and experience an area reclaimed by nature, now home to nesting Skylarks, Redshanks, and thousands of wildfowl in winter.
